SIA receives recognition for innovative activities

The International Social Security Administration (ISSA) has granted the Icelandic Social Insurance Administration (SIA) an approval for good practice in 2023, which includes the introduction of two innovations in the business; one for the Client Ombudsman and the other on the digital disability certificate on Ísland.is. Huld Magnúsdóttir, the director of the SIA, accepted the approval on behalf of the TR at the ISSA European Parliament in Porto, Portugal, on April 16.

TR has signed a deal with Noona to enable customers to book interviews with TR experts through the Noona app.

TR and pension funds negotiate on digital information sharing

The Social Insurance Administration and the pension funds have concluded an agreement on the digital exchange of information on pension rights of customers who have applied for pension payments to TR.

Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between rehabilitation systems

The signed memorandum of understanding emphasises cooperation between systems, a comprehensive approach and continuity in the service of rehabilitation. Individuals in rehabilitation should be followed systematically between service systems if they need service from more than one system and it will be clear how responsibility for the service is transferred between systems.
