Support for leisure activities is tailored to the needs of the child, their family, and the supervisors of the leisure activities, taking into account the child’s age and degree of visual impairment. Support for leisure activities may include:

Education and support regarding visual impairment and vision utilization
Training for coaches and supervisors of leisure activities
Recommendations related to activities of daily living (ADLs) and orientation
Advice on accessibility issues
Assistance with ordering large print or Braille materials, if applicable
Assessment of lighting needs
Guidance on useful assistive devices
