Public procurement
The process of public procurement aims to achieve a good deal. It involves four main factors that do not change no matter what the procurement is.
1. Analysis
Purchasing analyses and estimates are made. Then a request for a project is sent to Ríkiskaup. It can be assumed that the analysis will take more than a month.
2. Preparation
The buyer and the State purchaser will work together on the contract documents. It can be assumed that preparation will take over a month.
3. Auction
The time between the call for competition and the selection of the tenders. The time frame for the call for competition can be expected to be more than two months.
4. Contract Management
Contract management is the responsibility of the buyer. It ensures that the seller meets the conditions of the contract.
