The project monitors the success of wetland restoration through regular measurements of groundwater levels, soil temperature, vegetation cover and greenhouse gas emissions.

The project began in 2017 and is based on vegetation mapping, soil sampling and climate measurements. Measurements have been carried out regularly and continued monitoring is planned in some areas.
