Quality control in sheep farming is intended to improve sheep husbandry, ensure safe products, and strengthen farmers' income. The project covers land use, individual animal tagging, record-keeping, animal care, housing conditions, feed procurement, and medication use.

The role of Land and Forests is to:

• assess and confirm the quality of grazing land

• ensure that grazing land is used sustainably

• monitor the condition of the land, conduct assessments, and provide advice on land use and land improvements
