At the beginning of this year, registration of the kilometer status of electric, plug-in hybrids, and hydrogen cars opened. Registration is going very well with already around 15 thousand registrations submitted.

This week we released a new addition in the project on electronic registrations, where real estate agents are now able to register purchase contracts electronically. This is one of the most common types of documents sent to the records of the district commissioners.

The kilometer registration for cars powered by electricity is now open on Ísland.is My Pages and in the Ísland.is app.

The planned closure of the older version of Ísland.is My Pages on the 2nd of January have been postponed. until later half of 2024.
