Iceland Health: Rights between countries
I have just moved to Iceland from a country outside the EEA, can I get my health insurance in Iceland processed faster?
In general, it is not possible to obtain an accelerated activation of the Health Insurance when the party in question moves to Iceland from a country outside the EEA. The health insurance for the individual in question becomes effective 6 months after the domicile is moved to Iceland.
