What is the process if an injunction is approved?

If the District Commissioner approves the request for an injunction, the applicant must file a confirmation case in the district court within a week of the Commissioner's approval. The district court can either uphold or overturn the injunction.

At the applicant's request, the District Commissioner must take measures to enforce the injunction. The police are required to assist in this matter following the Commissioner's decision.

If a confirmation case is not filed within a week, the injunction automatically lapses.

Further information on injunctions can be found here.
