Return of a report to a religious organisation or a life-affirming organisation

All religious and philosophical associations that have been registered must submit an annual report on the activities of the previous year. It must be submitted by 31 March and it must detail the activities of the association, its financial assets and any changes that may have occurred in the operation or organisation of the association.

Information in a report

• Name of the company, address and who is its director.

• The board of a company.

• Changes in the organization of a company, if they occur.

• Funding measures and asset conversions.

• The operation of a company.

You can submit your annual report and financial statements instead of filling in the form and you can send them to us at truoglif@syslumenn.is. 

The report is considered and is either confirmed or comments made where directors have the opportunity to respond. If a company does not submit a report, the company can be given a reminder. If a company does not submit a report after a reminder, the company can be removed from the register.
