The full amount of the lump sum is ISK 70,364, which is paid to those who were entitled to receive the payments for all months of 2024. The amount is then proportional to the number of months the pensioner was entitled to receive payments for in the year. See the percentage distribution in the table below.

The law on the single payment is due to be published on December 5th and will be paid immediately thereafter. If there are delays in the payment, you will be notified here on here on this page and the Facebook page of TR.

All who will be entitled to a single payment will receive notification of this on My pages in TR.

The right to the single payment will be reviewed when the final information on the revenues for the year is available at the annual settlement, which will generally take place in May 2025.
