Beneficiaries of Akureyri Hospital Donate Furniture to the Psychiatric Ward

It is important to pay attention to the appropriate facilities and environment within mental health services.

Recently, the Beneficiaries of Akureyri Hospital generously donated furniture to the psychiatric ward. Chairs and tables have already been delivered to the consultation rooms, a coffee table for the day room, two lazy boy chairs for the secure department, and yesterday a large television was also provided for the secure unit.

Significant changes have recently been made to the ward with the aim of improving conditions for both patients and staff. With the arrival of the furniture from the Beneficiaries of Akureyri Hospital, it can be said that the improvements have gone even further.
