A single fishing trip is permitted per day, and can not last longer than 14 hours. This is based on the time the ship leaves the port to fish until it returns to port for landing.

For a fishing trip to be considered as a day-trip, a ship must leave the port to fish on the day it returns to the port for landing, that is within the same day.
