Administrative decisions
As of July 13 2022 the Directorate of Fisheries publishes all its administrative decisions on the suspension of commercial fishing licences and the revocation of weighing permits. The publication is made according to article 9 of the Directorate of Fisheries Act, compare article 21 of the Act on Handling Marine Resources.
The publication of decisions promotes transparency in the work of the Directorate of Fisheries as well as predictability for those working in the industry and provides both them and the Directorate of Fisheries with due restraint.
