Notification of the installation of a X-ray equipment

Technicians installing X-ray equipment must notify the installation of such equipment to the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority.

Notification

To complete a notification you need to have available information about:

• owner of the device

• address

• company

Information on equipment:

• type

• year model

• manufacturer

• the location of the device

• what kind of device

Obligation to report

The installation of a X-ray equipment must be notified to the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority within 4 weeks of installation.

The Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority monitors the installation and compliance of the device with standards.
