Is it possible to have fines cancelled (request for a pardon)?
No, it is not possible to have fines waived. However, it is possible to apply for a pardon if it is met with strict requirements. A request for a pardon shall be submitted in writing to the Committee on Impeachment of the Ministry of Justice, bt. Náðunefnd, Sölvhólsgata 7, 101 Reykjavík.
