Have you possibly witnessed or been a victim of any war crimes in Ukraine at any time from 24 February 2022? Your information could be vital to the investigation to alleged war crimes in Ukraine.
The Icelandic Police and the District Prosecutor, who has the national responsibility in Iceland for carrying out any enquiries into war crimes, are gathering evidence in relation to alleged war crimes in Ukraine.
Evidence provided and gathered in Iceland may be shared with the International Criminal Court (ICC) to assist with their on-going investigation.
To report a suspected war crime please open our online reporting tool above by providing your Icelandic social security number, where you are asked to answer a few questions to help us identify individuals we may contact for more information later. The questions are available in Icelandic, English, Ukrainian and Russian. Your answers can be in any of those languages you feel most comfortable to use.
Note that by answering those questions does not mean that you will automatically be contacted by the District Prosecutors Office.
