Request for a personal representative
As of 1 January 2025, District Commissioners have taken over the administration of agreements concerning personal representatives for disabled people. Therefore, a disabled individual now contacts the district commissioner instead of the Rights Protection for Disabled People when selecting a personal representative or when revoking the representative's mandate.
Agreements that have already been made will remain valid despite the transfer of the project to the District Commissioner at the turn of the year. Initially, and during the transfer of the project, some delays in the processing and approval of new agreements can be expected. Nevertheless, it is still possible to fill out an application form here on the website, which will be processed as soon as possible in the order they are received.
Inquiry to the district commissioner regarding a Personal representative
You can submit an inquiry to the district commissioner here to obtain information regarding agreements for personal representative for disabled individuals. The district commissioner will contact the inquirer within three days to provide information and guidance on resources and matters concerning a personal spokesperson. The residence of the individual generally determines which district commissioner will handle the inquiry.
