This is an important step in our digital journey, aimed at making it easier for people to get clear information and efficient services. The website is a key element in ensuring progress at an agency that takes into account the evolving needs of society and future challenges."

Andri Heiðar Kristinsson, Director of Digital Iceland:

“It is of great value for the Ísland.is community to get a large service institution like the Icelandic Transport Authority onboard. With the institution comes a great deal of experience which will result in even better service to users. Cooperation with the Icelandic Transport Authority has been very good in all respects and it certainly brings users improved service and information provision."
