Land Reclamation by Farmers seeking new participants

Land and Forest Iceland is seeking new participants for the Land Reclamation by Farmers project. To ensure participation by summer 2025, applications must be submitted by February 25th; otherwise, applications will be accepted throughout the year.
This project aims to assist landowners and tenants in land reclamation, erosion control, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable land management through guidelines and criteria. Grant support encompasses advisory services, seed provision, artificial fertiliser acquisition, and organic fertiliser distribution.
While applications are accepted year-round, to participate in the 2025 summer program, submissions must be received by February 25th. Existing participants need not reapply.
