The Healthcare Agency of South Iceland, in consultation with the Prevention Council, organised a campaign at the beginning of the year to offer residents aged 60+ blood pressure and blood sugar measurements. The Institute's area ranges from Hellisheiði in the west to Hafnar in the east, with around 300 individuals attending the service.

A part of the group continued to seek further health care for repeated measures.

The preventive measures are aimed at enhancing health literacy among the residents in the HSU district and this effort was part of that.
