The weekly number of diagnoses of confirmed influenza has not been higher since the turn of the year. The majority of diagnoses now are of influenza B strain, as has been the case in recent weeks.

In this second wave of influenza during the winter, proportionally more people in the age group 5-14 are diagnosed compared with the influenza peak earlier this winter.
