The reports present a quality outcome based on the quality indicators the Directorate of Health chose after the current arrangement of cancer screening was established. The reports include, among other things, figures on invitations and attendance for cervical and breast cancer screening in 2023. Response time, research results, and incidence and mortality rate for these cancers are also discussed.

The main results on breast cancer screenings show that the screening rate for 2023 was 56% and has increased by 4 percentage points between years. However, the rate is still below the recommended level of 75% coverage.

The main results on cervical screening for the year 2023 show that 62% of women attended a screening for cervical cancer, which is an increase of one percentage point from the previous year.
