It has been confirmed that five cases of measles have been diagnosed in Iceland in the past few weeks. This particular individual was in contact with an infected individual on February 15th in Egilsstaðir.

It has been confirmed that five cases of measles have been diagnosed in Iceland in the past few weeks. This particular individual was in contact with an infected individual on February 15th in Egilsstaðir.

The Chief Epidemiologist of Iceland has given out guidelines regarding vaccination prioritization.  Vaccinations will be offered today and this weekend in the East and in the Capital area for these groups of people and further information on location can be found on the web side of the Health care Centre of East Iceland and the Healthcare Centres of the Capital Area
