The President visit and 'Suðri gives to the HSU in Vík

March 28 was a happy day at the health clinic in Vík í Mýrdal. Then President of Iceland Guðni Th. Jóhannesson visited with his good wife Eliza Reid, who was on an official visit to Mýrdalshreppur on 28 and 29 March and visited local institutions and companies.

On this occasion, members of the Linsclub Suðra came to the clinic and handed the body measuring device over to Vík to the health centre as a gift. In the past, individuals at the southernmost level have been extremely effective in donating to health care. Nurse manager Helga Þorbergsdóttir remarked that a new generous donation had recently been received by the clinic from the owners of the Hotel Dyrólaey, in the case of a new electrocardiogram (ECG) machine.

The warmth and support of the local people at the Icelandic Health Care Center will be late in its implementation.
