Processing obligation abolished in the municipality Skagafjörður

The minister of food, agriculture and fisheries has issued rules regarding the allocation of regional quote for the municipality of Skagafjörður, namely Sauðarkrókur og Hofsós, in which the procession requirement is abolished. This entails that catch landed within the municipality between September 1, 2023 and August 18, 2024, which is put up for a tender in a fishmarket, is considered to have been landed for processing within the meaning of regulation on the allocation of regional quotas to fishing vessels in the fishing year 2023/2024.
