Örn Viðar Skúlason appointed manager of Fasteignafélag Þórkatla

The Board of Directors of Fasteignafélag Þórkatla ehf. has hired Örn Vidar Skúlason as the company's managing director. Örn Viðar holds a master's degree in economic engineering from the University of Technology in Berlin and a master's degree in corporate finance from Reykjavík University. He has extensive experience in the management and operation of companies and in recent years he has worked as Investment Manager at the New Business Venture Fund as well as serving on the boards of numerous start-up companies.  

Örn Viðar previously worked in property operations, as director of corporate consulting and investments at SPRON, as managing director of Iceland Seafood and managing director of the marketing department and assistant director of the SÍF group. 

There are numerous applications for Fasteignafélagið Þórkatla ehf. to buy residential property in Grindavík, and special emphasis is placed on accelerating the development of the company in order to process the implementation of the acquisition.
