Digital services are increasing in Iceland
More digital services are added to Iceland.is every month, from complicated processes such as digital applications for maternity leave to simple processes such as digital criminal records. In the last month many services have been added to simplify the lives of residents, employees and those in business operations. Including:
My pages are now accessible for enterprises which significantly facilitates the lives of operators and improves access to public data.
Access to My pages and therefore the mailbox, financial information, real estate and other items have been improved with a new agency system, but now operators and individuals can provide other people with access to documents in a simple manner.
The chatter Askur has been activated on Iceland.is and already solves a high proportion of common queries, despite still being in development.
Iceland.is and My pages will continue to be developed and that development is being implemented in a user-centered way.

Companies now on My Pages Ísland.is
My pages in Ísland.is are now accessible to companies where authorised signers can keep track of the digital mailbox, company status with the Treasury and more. Organisations log on with their own electronic IDs and can simply switch to a company's account.

Digital application for a driving course
A digital application for a provisional drivers license can now be found on Iceland.is. 6,056 individuals applied for driving courses in 2021 and it will be interesting to see the proportion of those choosing the digital process in the future.
Chat with Ísland.is
The chatter bot Askur has arrived on Iceland.is. Askur has been tested in recent weeks, constantly improving their knowledge from user feedback. Askur assists as best they can, but if they don't know the answer, you can always ask for a conversation with an Ísland.is service representative. You find Askur in the lower right corner of Iceland.is.
Vehicles on My Page
Vehicle owners can now see an overview and necessary information on all their vehicles on My pages on Ísland.is.
