New regulation on digital registration and submission of catch information

According to the regulation, it is mandatory to submit catch information digitally in the Directorates of Fisheries web service. It will therefore no longer be possible to submit catch information on forms or signed paper to the Directorate of Fisheries starting next April 1st.

Fiskistofa hopes that captains will welcome this change and points to the following entities that offer services to record catches:

• Aflaskráning

• Hafsýn Afladagbók app
