Advertisement on fee collection for fish farming in the sea

According to the Act on the collection of a fee for fish farming in the sea and Fiskraektarsjodur, the  Directorate of Fisheries imposes a fee twice a year, on August 15th for the period from January 1st to June 30th and on February 15th for the period from July 1st to December 31st.

According to the instructions of Article 2 of the law, the fees are:

• Fee per kilogram of slaughtered salmon in 2023 is ISK. 18,33

• Fee per kilogram of slaughtered rainbow trout in 2023 is ISK. 9,16
