Land monitoring - key to improved land management

The land monitoring project serves as the citizen science initiative within the Grólind project. This involves land users establishing permanent monitoring sites at locations of their choosing, utilising a dedicated smart application to track vegetation and soil conditions. Annual measurements assess the Grólind project's status, providing a valuable opportunity for public engagement in land monitoring. Detailed information, instructional videos, and the project application are accessible at www.grolind.is/landvoktun.
