Why do I not see the letters / data that have been published in Gagnagátt?

The most sensitive policy areas of the Iceland Health are access controlled and under that falls accident insurance, patient insurance and pre-determined treatment abroad are included amongst other things.

The primary user of the portal will always see all the data, but the functions are managed down to the secondary users.

To open up access for a secondary user to see a particular subject, you must send an email to hjalp@sjukra.is and request to be opened. The employee's superior needs to send in the request and confirm that the employee can see the correspondence / documentation for this category.
