Send confirmation regarding period of employment

The right to unemployment benefits is calculated after the period of employment and the employment rate of the last 12 months before applying.

Confirmation

Employers must fill out a confirmation of the period of employment and send it electronically through the Employer's My pages. It must record:

  • period of employment of an individual for the last three years

  • employment rate and interruption of employment if applicable

  • reason for retirement

  • unpaid leave at retirement

  • information on retirement benefits

  • what union and pension fund was paid in

When the employer has entered My pages, click on Confirmation of periods of employment on the front page. Note that the person must be a prokúruhafi or have a mandate. An individual who needs to confirm periods of employment must have submitted an application for unemployment benefits.
