The National Archives of Iceland is looking for a new Director of Operations. This is an exciting managerial position at a powerful cultural and administrative organisation that preserves documents on the history of the nation and leads the government's archives and records management.


The National Archives employs approximately 50 people. The current operations are undergoing major changes, and therefore it is an exciting opportunity for a powerful organisation.
The Director of Operations is a member of the Directorate of Management and is involved in policy and development work. The Directorate of Operations includes finance and operations, human resources and quality, internal web, security, documentation and information and housing.
