Risk assessment of trees - seminar at the Green Sector Training Centre

The FSu's Gardening School is presenting a one-day tree risk assessment course on March 20th in Reykir, Ölfus. Instructed by Aaron Shearer, a Land and Forest Iceland expert, the course covers crucial tree condition evaluation and hazard identification. Registration closes March 6th.
The curriculum includes theoretical sessions on:
Common tree problems.
Tree health and defensive mechanisms.
Hazard assessment.
Responses to stress, damage, and pruning.
The second section of this course provides practical, hands-on experience covering:
Tree risk assessment.
Inspection methodologies.
The distinction between comprehensive and visual assessments.
The development of intervention plans based on assessment findings.
The second part of the course is practical, where you will be able to review.
