Réttindagátt closed
27th September 2024
Iceland Health was present at the conference Tengjum ríkið, which was held on 27 September 2024. At the conference, various digital service solutions introduced recently by Iceland Health were presented.
In the event, Réttindagátt was officially closed. The portal was a revolution in information sharing when it came to light in 2011. With new technology and focus on sharing content, Iceland Health collaborated with Digital Iceland to bring all the activity that was in Réttindagátt to the category of health on My pages on Ísland.is. The project began in November 2022 but officially ended at the beginning of that year.
My pages, under the category Health, contain a wide range of information on rights and health services provided. Information on all training, assistive devices and nutrition is provided in good format. You can also find information on registering for healthcare and dental care. In addition, you can find detailed information on medicine purchases, an invoice for medicine purchases and a medicine certificate. An overview of payment participation and payment status can also be found on My pages. Parents can easily retrieve information about their children by using the functionality of the proxy system built into My pages.
More service solutions have recently been implemented at Iceland Health, such as a service website, the Askur chatter and a web chatter that answers inquiries during opening hours. At that occasion, Iceland Health received an award at the conference for having taken all the digital steps.
