Service survey at health centers in Iceland
17th October 2023
In recent years, Iceland Health (Sjúkratryggingar) has conducted a survey of health care services both in the capital area and in the countryside. The purpose of such a survey is to examine what is being done well and what can be done better.
A survey of the services of all health centers in Iceland is now being launched. A random sample is taken of those who have attended health care services between January and September in 2023, and those who are included in the sample will be sent an email invitation to participate in the survey. To answer the survey, you need to log in to „Réttindagátt“ (on Iceland Health website ; rg.sjukra.is.). The survey tries to get answers about the experience of the last visit, regardless of where it took place in the country. In the case of children who have attended health care, the oldest person in the family is invited to participate in the survey, but it is recommended that the person who accompanied the child answer the questionnaire.
The research company Maskína is responsible for the implementation and processing of the survey on behalf of Iceland Health and for making the answers non-personally identifiable so that it will be impossible to trace answers to individuals.
It is the hope of Iceland Health and health centers in Iceland that as many people as possible answer the survey, because good participation gives more valid results.
