Making a plan to ensure a child's security

Guidelines for the preparation of a plan to ensure children's security according to Article 33(1) of the Child Protection Act and Article 25 of the regulation on procedures for the Child Protection Committee No. 56/2004.

The following items must be included in Article 33 of the plan for secure child care. The National Agency for Children and Families recommends this structure:

  1. Name of the child and names of the guardian, ID numbers and addresses (Article 25(a))

  2. Determination of the accommodation and the proposed length of accommodation (Article 25(b) and (f))

  3. Care and custody (Article 25(c))

  4. What kind of child care is planned (Article 25(e))

  5. The goals of the chosen form of child care (Article 25(d))

  6. Support for the child and others (Article 25(g)) A plan must also be dated and signed by the employee.

(Note: When a child is being assigned to a treatment home, the support to be provided there does not need to be listed, it is sufficient to refer to the services that the treatment home will provide).
