A temporary ban on bottom trawling in the west of Pollina NV by the Faculty came into force at 22:00 on 12 July 2023 and will apply on 26 July 2022.

The Directorate of Fisheries has opened applications for additional authorisations in mackerel under Regulation No. 725/2020 on the disposal of 4,000 tons of additional catch authorisations in mackerel.
