Application for a grant from Fiskræktarsjóður

Applications for 2025 have been opened and the application deadline is 1st of March 2025.

The main role of the fund is to provide loans or grants for projects that serve the following goals:

• to promoting fisheries

• to improve fishing facilities

• to supporting research in rivers and lakes

• to increase the value of fishing rivers and lakes

Please note

• All applications and supporting documents must be submitted electronically through the application portal.

• Neither applications nor supporting documents will be accepted by email or in paper form.

• A confirmation email is sent to the applicant's email address once an application has been received.

• Those who have previously received funding from the fund and are applying again for the same project must submit a progress report with a new application.
